J. C. Goss Company was in that building from 1954 until 1969 when it moved to 6330 East Jefferson. Bob B. worked in that building from 1963 to 1969 when it was the J. C. Goss Company and provided the vintage pictures. From his recollection, "the building and lot had frontage on two streets, 2941 East Jefferson Avenue and the rear entrance 2940 East Larned Street. The lot size was 50’ wide x 200’ deep street to street. The rear of the building had an overhead door
in the center and a entrance door. The showroom area
had a mezzanine about 12’ x the width of the building, we kept old
files on the level. Below the mezzanine we used for office space for
our desks. The rear of the building about 60% of the building had
mezzanines on both sides, I suppose it had space for about six
service bays."

The lot where the building stood now serves as a parking lot, but the brick building next to it, the Wells Castle, at 2931 E. Jefferson still remains untouched.
